With nearly four decades of distinguished practice, Sanjay brings unparalleled expertise in serving Indian businesses across diverse industries. His guidance strengthens VAYU’s vision of becoming a trusted and esteemed financial services solutions provider.
A Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Sanjay qualified in May 1986 with distinction, securing a rank (1st in Central India) and completing his C.A. Final ahead of schedule. He also holds a Diploma in Information System Audit (DISA) and a Certificate in Concurrent Audit of Banks from ICAI.
Since 1987, Sanjay has been the Managing Partner of M/s Ghiya & Co., Chartered Accountants (established in 1958), where he has led thousands of client engagements in Audit, Taxation, Project Financing, and RERA advisory. His extensive experience includes statutory central audits and branch audits of banks, making him a trusted advisor to corporates, institutions, and entrepreneurs across India.
Beyond his practice, Sanjay has held influential leadership roles, including Secretary of the Jaipur branch of ICAI, member of the Executive Committees of Tax Consultants Associations in Jaipur and Rajasthan, and Convenor of the MSME & Policy Advocacy Panel of CII Rajasthan for six consecutive terms. He has also contributed to academia and society as Trustee of Dr. Madan Pratap Khuteta Homeopathic College & Research Center Society, Jaipur, and remains actively associated with several charitable and educational institutions.
Widely respected as a thought leader, Sanjay is a regular speaker at ICAI, CII, and other forums, and frequently engages in debates on economic and financial matters across television and public platforms. His career also includes serving as Executive Director of Rajasthan Co-operative Weavers Supplying and Marketing Federation Ltd (SAMFED), a United Nations–affiliated initiative.
Through his diverse leadership, extensive industry contributions, and remarkable achievements, Sanjay has made a lasting impact on the accountancy profession in India and continues to be regarded as a trusted figure by businesses and professionals alike.
Lakshya Ghiya is a Chartered Accountant, with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree, and the Founder & Managing Partner of the firm. He brings over seven years of professional experience in audit and assurance, having worked with leading global firms including nearly five years with Big 4 firms KPMG and EY, and two years with RSM, serving clients across multiple industries and geographies.
During his professional career, Lakshya has worked across a broad range of industries, including services, hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, insurance, not-for-profit organizations, trusts and universities, business professional services, and TMT (Technology, Media & Telecommunications). Over the past several years, he has developed strong domain exposure in the healthcare and insurance sectors, working on complex engagements requiring a high level of technical and regulatory understanding.
Lakshya has supported clients across the United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, and India, and has also traveled to the US and South Africa to work closely with clients on-site. This international exposure has enabled him to develop a deep understanding of diverse regulatory environments, professional standards, and business practices across jurisdictions.
Through his experience working with clients of varying sizes and across multiple industries, Lakshya has developed a strong understanding of operational complexities, technical challenges, and the areas where organizations often require greater clarity and support. He is known for his strong command over technical accounting, attention to detail, and his ability to understand business realities and apply professional judgment effectively.
